The first step is to visit the Digital India Portal’s official website. This is the website where you can access various services related to your PAN card. After reaching the website, find the PAN section. This is typically found in the menu or as a separate option on the homepage. Click on the PAN tab to proceed to the PAN-related services. Locate the UTI PAN section, then you can choose to apply for a physical PAN card and an e-PAN card, or only an e-PAN card.
The e-PAN card is a valid electronic mode document bearing your permanent account number (PAN). You will need to fill out the online application form, upload the required documents, pay the applicable fees, and submit your application.
After submitting the required details, the website will verify your information and provide you with the status of your PAN card. If your PAN card is ready for download, you will be directed to a page where you can access the download link. Third, you need to download your e-PAN card from Digital India Portals.
This facility is available only for the users who have applied for a fresh PAN card or applied for a change/correction in their PAN card with Digital India Portal, and who have registered a valid and active mobile number or email with their PAN record with the Income Tax Department.

You will be able to see the current stage of your application, such as under process, dispatched, or delivered. You will also be able to see the expected date of delivery of your PAN card.

To download your e-PAN card, click on the Download PDF button. This will open your e-PAN card in a new tab. You can then save it to your computer or print it out. Your e-PAN card is a valid document for all purposes where a physical PAN card is required. You can use your e-PAN card to open a bank account, file your income tax returns, and apply for loans, among other things.
